Project Ashless:
(Name will potentially be changed in the future) is a Pseudo-Open world Roguelite. Quick note: this game is still in very VERY early development and most features/mechanics are not functional. This is very much a playtest designed to gather feedback.
About Us:
We are a team of 4 college students building a game for our senior project. We are very passionate about what we create and we strive to create fun and enjoyable games.
Jayden: Technical Artist, Level Designer, Assistant programmer
Joe: 3D Modeling, Animations, Ui Design, 2D art
Nathan: Lead Developer
Branden: Concept artist
Main Features:
Medium to large maps with focus on exploration.
Melee and ranged combat. The player wields both a sword and a bow.
Player can learn skills and spells to assist in defeating the enemies.
Melee and ranged enemies (more types in future builds).
Variable difficulty based on time of day. As the day gets later, enemies will get tougher (not yet implemented).
Randomized weather. The weather has a chance to change during gameplay. It will switch between neutral, heavy fog and rainy. These effects will eventually change gameplay.
Build crafting routes, Earn skills from currency and craft specialized builds (not implemented in the current playtest).
Known Issues:
Temp Buffs infinitely stack (speed buffs get really funny)
Weather transitions from rain to fog result in harsh transitions
Enemies sometimes get stuck inside of the terrain and cannot move
Player blocks the arrow trajectory at certain camera distances
